What is Spot UV?

Spot UV is a popular finishing technique, during which a clear, shiny varnish is applied directly onto the surface of your bespoke scratch cards.

You can use this to highlight particular elements of your design – including your company name, top value prize or even graphics and images. Spot UV is also often used to enhance parts of your overall artwork – for example, adding varnish to stars in a night sky will create a more pleasing aesthetic.
